The Heatmap turns LinkedIn Ads performance data into a color-coded grid. It is designed for fast pattern spotting across days, campaigns, creatives, and metrics.
Filter your data
Start with the control panel at the top of the page.
- Ad account, campaign group, campaign, and creative: choose a broad view or drill down to compare individual creatives.
- Date range: use a preset or select a custom campaign period.
- Metric selector: choose the metrics you want to compare.
Analyze the grid
Each cell represents a data point. Color intensity helps you spot high and low performers quickly, while the number inside the cell keeps the actual value visible.
The grid can help answer questions such as:
- Which days produce the most clicks?
- Does cost per result climb at weekends?
- Which campaigns or creatives are driving stronger results?
Export the heatmap
Use the export options near the grid when you need to share or analyze the data elsewhere.
- Export to PNG: saves the visual heatmap as an image for reports or slides.
- Export to CSV: downloads the underlying data for spreadsheet analysis.
